162 games, even more blogs. From college to the minors to the pros. It's all here.

To Siberia with you, Indian’s RHP Fausto Carmona!

Yesterday the Cleveland Indian’s demoted righty Fausto Carmona.

They didn’t send him to AAA to work out the kinks, though. Or double-A. Or just A.

They sent him to the baseball equivalent of Siberia: the Arizona Fall League. Rookie ball.

That's about as close as you'll be to a mound for a while, Bud.

To some, it’s hard to believe that this is the same guy who won 19 games just two years ago and finished fourth in the Cy Young voting. But if you’re an Indian’s fan, I’m sure you’re a little less shocked…

After all, I’m sure you remember Carmona’s 2006. You know, that season that seemingly dropped off the stat sheet after his breakout? If you forgot though, I’ll break it down for you.

1-10 record. 5.42 ERA.

Oh, and let’s not forget about Carmona’s time as closer: one week, four losses, three blown saves, two walkoff losses.

The guy’s a headcase and Cleveland should have seen it coming all along.
