Marlin’s Ross Gload pitches a scoreless inning.

This is ridiculous. Two months into the season and six position players have pitched.

Last night, Florida Marlin’s first baseman Ross Gload took the mound in the ninth inning. He gave up two hits before inducing a double play followed by a ground out. The Marlin’s were down 15-1 at the time of his entrance.

As usual, the best I can do is link you to the video.

I think it’s about time that I really check out the official statistics regarding this.
