Blogging About Baseball

162 games, even more blogs. From college to the minors to the pros. It's all here.

I can’t take any credit for this, but it’s awesome.

I can’t take any credit for this awesome discovery.

I was trolling around Baseball Think Factory when I saw “Mordecai Brown pitching clip.” At first I thought, “There’s absolutely no way they mean ole’ Three Fingers. He’s been long dead!”

But in fact, it did. It seems that some ingenious video editor strung some still photos together to form a suitable representation of Brown pitching. He’s a Hall of Fame member with a 239-130 record and a 2.06 ERA.

And yes, he only had three fingers (and parts of others). Hence the nickname.
