According to multiple sources, current Pawtucket Red Sox player Brad Wilkerson is prepping for his last hurrah in a baseball uniform.

In 2002, it looked like Brad had a promising future ahead of him, winning second in the Rookie of the Year honors while posting a line of .266/20/59 in 507 at-bats. He hit his stride in ’04, whacking 32 homers and scoring 112 runs. In 2005, he was sidelined with a shoulder injury and like so many before him, he never returned to form and spent the twilight of his career bouncing ’round the league.

Here’s one last curtain call for you, Brad. You were one of the Montreal Expo’s last true stars.

And he sails off into the horizon...
