Greinke panky.

On the opposite side of the spectrum as the Yankee’s Chien Ming Wang (check this out), we have Kansas City Royal’s ace Zack Greinke. The dude is pitching Orel Hershisher-like, extending his scoreless innings streak to 34 today.

Greinke is one step from stardom.

You can’t help but feel good for Greinke. As little as three years ago, his social anxiety was so out of control that he couldn’t step onto a major league mound. After dealing with his issues, the fireballing righty was back in KC as a reliever before making the switch to the rotation. Last year, he made the strides everyone expected from him in ’07 and this year he’s taking that one step farther.

Ladies and gentleman, we are one step away from having a Kansas City Royal become a household name. The first sign of the apocalypse?
